About Jury Hero

Who are the folks behind JuryHero.com?

We are patriotic American citizens who are frustrated and saddened by the decline in our nation's adherence to the basic laws and principles upon which this country was founded.
  • We have seen lobbying and corruption in the political/electoral system take away our representation in the legislative branch of government and effectively eliminate our influence over lawmakers.
  • We have seen greed, misplaced incentives, and runaway conflicts of interest in law enforcement, courts, and so-called "correctional institutions" take away virtually all protection, fairness, objectivity, and "correction" from the judicial branch of government.
  • And we have seen two massively powerful and corrupt political parties join forces under the table to advance their shared agendas against the American people and for a small cadre of elites in a way that effectively neuters the executive branch, leaving us with Presidents unable or unwilling to act on their commitments to the people.
Now, we rest our remaining hope for justice in what has been called the fourth branch of government - JURIES - and their ability to save good people and good families from the devastation of bad laws and bad applications of the law.

Our goals include these:
  1. To educate as many citizens as possible, as fast as possible, about their amazing powers as jurors.
  2. To encourage all Americans to eagerly look forward to each opportunity to serve as jurors and deliver justice for their fellow citizens.
  3. To create enough Jury Heroes across the country that good people facing criminal charges will trust jurors to do what's right despite intimidation and pressure in the courtroom.
  4. To reverse the current plea-bargain trend and encourage more and more defendants to hold out for trial by jury instead of surrendering that right because of threats of longer jail time waiting for trial and harsher punishments if convicted.
  5. To reform bail practices that punish poor and middle-class defendants with excessive jail time awaiting trial simply because they can't afford bail.
  6. To make it so difficult to convict defendants of breaking the bad laws that are currently ruining lives and causing far more harm to our society than good...that the lawmakers eventually get rid of those virtually unenforceable bad laws.

Because we are based in Texas, we have more knowledge of U.S. and Texas-specific court procedures. However, the principles of jury power and nullification are defined at the federal level, through the U.S. Constitution - the supreme law of the land - and in each State's own constitution and laws.

We continue to work with attorneys to refine our understanding of the law and how to use it to restore justice to this once and future great country.

We encourage you to learn all you can about this subject and how it is implemented in your specific state and county. Then share your expertise widely with Jury Heroes in your local area.
